Technical assistance for the Bus Rapid System corridors and terminals functional project in Joao Pessoa

The municipality of Joao Pessoa and the State of Paraíba wish to develop a BRS (Bus Rapid System) project that fits the reality of street widths, as the BRT system does not fit. The study includes a critical analysis of the basic project, recommendations, and integration of proposals for the 4 corridors and 5 terminals, ensuring intermodality of the restructured transport network with other means of transport. One of the significant challenges is to favor the priority of buses in relatively narrow corridors on the streets.
