The mission consists of supporting the development of a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network for the urban area of Nairobi. After a phase of developing different alternative routes and a detailed multicriteria analysis leading to conclusions, projections are made in terms of urban integration: dedicated sites, stations, intersections, and 30 km/h limited speed zones. Operational proposals are formulated to ensure the implementation of an efficient BRT service, integrated within a well-managed urban planning framework that respects the natural environment and the existing built fabric, with particular attention to each of the identified sectors.
