Feasibility Study for the Vic-Mireval Railway Stop

Sète Agglopôle Méditerranée is an attractive territory, subject to strong land pressure and significant commuting and tourist flows. The Vic-Mireval railway stop has quadrupled its ridership in five years, reaching 60,000 passengers. This dynamic requires both immediate and forward-looking consideration. The multimodal transport hub project, conducted with ambition and pragmatism, aims to enhance the rail offer and reposition the station within its living area. The project integrates the hydraulic constraints that are highly present in this Languedoc coastal site, as well as a photovoltaic shading system for the future car park. In parallel, Montpellier’s SERM project will strengthen peri-urban services.
