North South corridor mobility study

The north–south corridor is the historic axis connecting the city’s two historic cores. The study addresses social, walkability, and urban design issues, with the development of public transport as a key objective. Three scenarios are proposed, ranging from dedicated bus lanes and bus rapid transit solutions to a next-generation tramway system.

The urban and landscape design approach aims to achieve better integration of pedestrian mobility, walking routes, the urban landscape, green infrastructure, and heritage assets.
