Intermodality studies for Montparnasse station interchange hub in Paris

An integration study was carried out for the entire southern section of Montparnasse Station, including alternative design options and ambitious proposals promoting sustainable transport modes as alternatives to private car use, together with the creation of high-quality public spaces. These proposals were retained and incorporated into the final project design.

The study also included a comprehensive wayfinding and signage strategy for the station, the city center, and the surrounding district, establishing a clear hierarchy by transport mode and by level of modal information to improve user orientation and navigation.
