Intermodal hub of Charleville Mezieres

The implementation of the multimodal interchange hub provides an opportunity to revitalise the public spaces around the railway station district. The redevelopment enables all transport modes to access the station easily and places pedestrians at the heart of the project, based on the principle that public spaces designed to be accessible to people with disabilities are more comfortable and convenient for everyone. The station forecourt is served by a dedicated lane for buses, taxis and bicycles. Through the redevelopment of the interchange hub, combined with the future development of the business park, the district will benefit from high-quality public spaces comparable to those found in the city centre. It will become more closely connected to the city while opening up towards a new urban area: Les Forges Saint-Charles.
