Vergèze-Codognan Multimodal Interchange Hub

The station interchange hub is a strategic asset for the region, serving the metropolitan areas of Nîmes and Montpellier. The project is based on optimizing land use through a multi-storey parking facility while prioritizing pedestrian and cycling access. Improvements to site accessibility, including facilities for active modes of transport and people with reduced mobility (PRM), aim to achieve a better balance between the different modes of access to the station. The landscape design and the quality of public spaces are intended to enhance the site’s attractiveness while addressing the constraints of its flood-prone environment.
