Urban and landscape development along the Mekangoué canal

The new Mekangoué Park is located at the heart of the Nzeng Ayong district, developed around the restoration and drainage works of the existing river. It provides a space where inhabitants become active participants in a renewed living environment, offering a welcoming public realm enhanced by new community facilities. A major route for walking and leisure activities, the park becomes a place for community life, providing a peaceful counterpoint to the intensity of the metropolis. This open and flexible space also offers opportunities for future urban development projects, enabling the integration of new initiatives while preserving the identity of the site.
