Bruno Remoué

Architect Urban planner. Major partner. Managing Director of BR&A agency.

 

Bruno Remoué was born in Nantes, France, where he graduated as an Architect at ENSA (Nantes High School of Architecture). He settled in Barcelona in 1989 and obtained a post graduate Degree in Urban Planning (DEA UPC). After working for a few years in the Department of Town planning of Barcelona, he joined the agency of LLluís Cantallops, the previous Manager of Catalonia urban planning department. In 1994 Bruno created his own agency. Today Managing Director and General Partner of Bruno Remoué & Associats, he offers more than 25 years of experience in urban projects, most of them involving problems with transport infrastructure and mobility. Many of his projects are linked to public transport dedicated lanes and interchange stations. A specific example is the interchange station of Agen central station, France: as Project Manager in 2013 he received the Urban Art Prize for Environment and the Audience Award. Bruno has a wide international experience of working in 15 countries, offering a large panel of benchmarking useful for new projects. He regularly leads conferences and holds lectures. He also organizes study travels on given subjects for various clients and contracting authorities. He is the co-founder of NOVA group (http://www.novagroupe.net/). He is also a speaker at Spaces in Motion (http://www.spacesinmotion.net/) and regular teacher at Toulouse Business School in Barcelona.
